The Amazon Gift Card business is a rapidly growing, multi-billion-dollar business. Within Gift Cards, the Branded Gift Cards team is responsible for managing our Third Party brands. The success story of our program started in EU in 2018. Since then, we have relentlessly worked on the expansion to 6 countries (DE, UK, FR, IT, ES, NL) and on growing our brand selection to offer our customers a vast choice that they can’t find elsewhere. We offer a selection of 150+ international and national brands, such as Apple, Zalando, Netflix, or DAZN, across 10+ different categories (e.g. Entertainment, Fashion, Restaurants, Ride Share & Travel). We aspire to offer our customers the largest selection of gift cards and a delightful shopping experience by continuously expanding our brand and product portfolio and by adding innovative product features.

We are looking for a data-driven, customer- and partner-centric Vendor Manager to manage our EU6 third-party gift card selection and drive strategic brand and product portfolio growth while securing the program's profitability. You will work closely with our strategic external partners, dive deep to understand customer trends, and optimize our selection to address new opportunities. You will build plans to grow your category, measure results, and work with internal and external partners to accelerate growth.

Key job responsibilities
• Manage our existing selection and selection expansion strategy across 6 countries and 150+ brand partners.
• Audit our existing selection, analyze trends across the Gift Card industry and listen to our customers to detect design, form factor, brand and category gaps. Accelerate growth by building and executing short and mid-term growth plans in alignment with our key partners, sizing opportunities, defining priorities and timelines. Keep partnering teams accountable to deliver within aligned timelines.
• Be the ambassador for the Branded Gift Cards EU program to attract new brand partners. Work across relevant Amazon teams and deepen the partnership to acquire new brands.
• Identify blockers for selection onboarding and work on appropriate solutions. This requires a profound understanding of our technical set-up and legal framework. Lead alignment with GC Leadership, Legal, Product, Tech, Finance and partnering categories for path to green.
• Build reports with relevant metrics and KPIs to track progress and report updates in Business Reviews.
• Audit the portfolio health, securing long-term growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with Operations to increase efficiency wins for selection onboarding and reduce friction to assure faster time to market.
• Assure a frictionless shopping experience for our customers, improving product page data and removing obstacles throughout the purchase flow, partnering with internal and external teams.

• Manages competing priorities independently. Has a strong judgement to shuffle priorities when needed.

• Ability to seamlessly work across functional and organizational boundaries, reputation for influencing others and earning trust across levels and organizations.
• Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.
• Proven negotiating skills, influencing abilities and relationship management experience.
• Proven track record of taking ownership, delivering results and using data to drive business decisions.
• Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems independently with an exceptional attention to detail.
• Proven analytical and quantitative skills with demonstrated ability to manage the business through input and output metrics.
• Strong grasp of business inputs and outputs, with proven track record of effectively making tradeoffs amongst the various business levers.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Ability to handle the 'hands-on' day-to-day management of tasks, resolution of problems and issues and experience in implementing action plans to meet objectives.
• Solid communications skills – verbal and written.
